About DeFi Football
DeFi Football is the first game that combines football and Web 3.0 on the ONUS Chain ecosystem. With gameplay revolving around team management, players will own football player cards in the form of NFTs. From there, build a favorite squad and participate in the Tournament and PvP game modes.
The matches will be simulated based on the player’s stats. Therefore, players need to own a strong squad and build smart tactics to increase the possibility of victory.
Game modes
1. Tournament
With this mode, players will join their squad to participate in top tournaments such as the Junior Division Cup, Major League Cup or Premier League Cup.
Currently, with 3 leagues available on DeFi Football, 12 clubs will face off against each other. In which, the cost of participation of each team will be added to the total prize pool of the tournament. 60% of the total prize pool will be divided among the lucky teams to reach the top 3, the rest will be used for tournament costs and rewards for the next season.
2. PvP
In this mode, players will create rooms to compete with other players’ squads, thereby achieving attractive rewards. The reward will go to the winning team, while the losing team will not receive the reward.
Possession of player cards
To build a favorite squad, players need to own player card NFTs. Currently, player cards can be exchanged in the Marketplace between players and paid in WCI.
In addition, players can also get NFT through the Packs. This is an opportunity for participants to own rare player cards, corresponding to the following Packages:
- Ruby Pack
- Golden Pack
- Silver Pack
To upgrade the player’s strength stats, the player needs to burn NFT to get the upgrade cards back. Thereby increasing the winning rate in the next matches and winning bigger rewards.
Note:
- When burning football player NFT, players will receive upgrade cards for football players.
- When burning the goalkeeper NFT, the player will receive upgrade cards for the goalkeeper.
- Football player upgrade cards cannot be used to upgrade goalkeepers and vice versa.
About World Cup International Token (WCI)
WCI is the native token of DeFi Football, and is used:
- As the reward for matches
- To trade and exchange the player NFT
- To purchase Packs
