At the World Economic Forum on Thursday in Davos, Switzerland, U.S. President Donald Trump said he wants the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates immediately.

The statement was made just before the Fed is set to hold its FOMC Press Conference next week. Investors overwhelmingly expect the Fed to hold rates at their current level of 4.25%-4.5%, after three consecutive cuts since September.
