According to CEO Ben Zhou, the North Korean hackers have begun employing various crypto mixers to obscure their stolen funds, utilizing platforms such as Wasabi and Tornado Cash. Approximately half of the stolen 500,000 ETH has been laundered, with 193 BTC entering these mixers.

Although 88.87% of the stolen assets are traceable, 7.59% have gone dark, posing significant challenges for recovery efforts. The FBI connects this operation to North Korea’s Lazarus Group, marking it as the largest single crypto theft in history.
