The Ether Guild has been established to support the value of ether (ETH), responding to a significant 50% decline in value since December 2024. This new initiative reflects efforts to address internal discord within the Ethereum community.

The decline in ether’s value, which equates to a loss of around 250 billion USD, has fueled discord, particularly around Aya Miyaguchi, president of the Ethereum Foundation. The Ether Guild aims to reinforce much-needed morale and promote the idea that ‘ETH is money’.
