Kartik Patel has introduced Anon World, a social platform prioritizing user anonymity. Built using the Farcaster protocol, it builds upon his previous project, AnonCast, to offer a Reddit-inspired experience where users can engage in discussions while maintaining their privacy.
The platform uses ZERO-knowledge (ZK) technologies, storing user credentials locally to uphold anonymity. To post, users need specific ERC20 tokens, beginning with the Base network. Anon World plans to incorporate multiple blockchain networks in the future, broadening credential types it supports.
Anon World facilitates community-like interactions, reflecting traditional subreddits. These communities operate using shared tokens and wallets. User identities can be consistently maintained across devices using linked profiles and passkeys, ensuring seamless participation across platforms without sacrificing privacy.
