Flow has announced that its mainnet will undergo the Crescendo upgrade on September 4 at 20:00. Flow stated that Crescendo will be the most significant upgrade to the Flow network since its inception.
The upgrade includes full EVM equivalence for all developers on Flow, meaning that any smart contract, protocol, or tool running on the Ethereum mainnet will be able to operate on Flow, similar to EVM Layer 2 solutions.
According to PANews, Flow has announced that the Crescendo network upgrade will bring EVM Equivalence and Cadence 1.0 to Flow.
On June 19th, the Crescendo network upgrade will be deployed on the testnet. This series of upgrades is expected to enhance the functionality and performance of the Flow network, providing users with a more efficient and reliable platform.
