Riot Platforms has named three experienced directors: Jaime Leverton, Doug Mouton, and Michael Turner, to enhance its Bitcoin mining business by leveraging AI and high-performance computing capabilities.

Leverton previously led Hut 8’s expansion into HPC, while Mouton has expertise in zero-carbon datacenter design, and Turner offers insights from global real estate investment.

Despite challenges post halving, analysts suggest that adapting mining assets for AI can bolster profitability. However, Riot acknowledges not all assets may suit this conversion.
