Ripple has secured regulatory approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) to offer crypto payment services in the UAE. The announcement places Ripple as the first licensed blockchain payment provider within the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).

With the DFSA license, Ripple intends to enhance its digital asset infrastructure, catering to both crypto-native firms and traditional financial institutions seeking cross-border payment solutions. CEO Brad Garlinghouse noted the supportive environment in the UAE for crypto innovation.
