SONIC Labs has launched a points program that offers three types of points: Passive Points for holding assets, Activity Points for liquidity deployment, and SONIC Gems for developer-focused rewards. This initiative aims to drive growth in the DeFi sector and enhance user engagement.

As part of the initiative, SONIC Labs will distribute around 200 million S tokens in an airdrop, awarded to users holding whitelisted assets. The SONIC Points program encourages active participation, aiming to strengthen liquidity in the DeFi market.
