Visa taps Ethereum’s Goerli testnet to experiment with account abstraction

Visa conducted “account abstraction” testing, deploying “Paymaster” smart contracts on the Ethereum’s Goerli testnet.

These smart contracts can manage transaction costs on behalf of other user accounts, thereby simplifying crypto payments.
