What is ONUS Web3 wallet?
A Web3 wallet is your personal wallet for using DeFi and Web3. A Web3 wallet typically has the most important features of storing, sending, receiving digital assets, and connecting to use dApps (decentralized applications) or using products built on DeFi and Web3.
Users can import their existing Web3 wallets or create a new one right on ONUS. The Web3 wallet on ONUS provides users with full features:
- Store, send/receive digital assets
- Support most popular blockchain networks
- Easily exchange between any two tokens. The system will search and suggest the best rates. You can customize the slippage as you wish.
- Easily connect and use dApps
How to use the Web3 wallet on ONUS
1. How to access the Web3 wallet
- On the main screen of the ONUS app, press and hold the avatar icon in the top left corner.
*Tip: Press and hold the avatar icon for quick access.
- Tap on your account.
- Select Web3 Wallet. You can import an existing wallet or create a new one.
2. Create a new wallet
- Tap “Add wallet”
- Select “I don’t have a wallet” to create a new one
- Enable PIN authentication
- After successfully adding a wallet, you need to view and back up your seed phrase to ensure the security of your wallet and assets
Important: Please save your 12-word seed phrase. The seed phrase is the key to your Web3 wallet. Anyone with this phrase can control the assets in your wallet. Therefore, keep it safe and DO NOT share it with anyone.
3. Importing an Existing Wallet
If you already have a Web3 wallet, you can easily import it for use on ONUS. There are two ways to import an existing wallet:
Method 1: Import with seed phrases
- Choose “Add Wallet” section
- Choose “Import with seed phrases”
- Enter the seed phrases for your wallet (the seed phrases consist of 12 words provided when you create your wallet).
Method 2: Import with private key
- Choose “Add Wallet” section
- Choose “Import with private key”
- Choose Blockchain network
- Enter your private key (the private key consists of 64 characters string).
