BitTorrent (BTTC) rises 82% as TRON hits 200 million users

The BTTC token from BitTorrent, the file-sharing platform that Tron bought in 2018, more than doubled in price amid apparent optimism about the Tron blockchain.

BTTC is now leading the Top Gainers on ONUS with a solid increase of more than 82%.

Huobi will join the BitTorrent Chain L2 ecosystem

Huobi announced that it will join the BTTC (BitTorrent Chain) ecosystem and support the development of a layer 2 network based on BTTC to promote the creation and improvement of an on-chain open financial system.

BTTC, a layer 2 solution for Ethereum, TRON, and BNB Chain, was launched in December 2021. This year, the platform will introduce Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZK) technology.

BitTorrent File System(BTFS) 2.0.1 Testnet is now live

Underpinned by BTTC, the BTFS V2.0.1 Testnet supports cross-chain connectivity and multi-channel payments, making the distributed BTFS network easier to use and applicable to more use cases.

BitTorrent becomes BTTC-Mainnet, BTT price increased by more than 50%

The BTTC mainnet and the BTT recalibration plan will start on December 12th, 2021. BTT rallies sharply when the news is released. The price hovered at a low of $0.0023 and jumped 50% to an intraday high of $0.0035.

Market capitalization also jumped from $2.2 billion to a high of $3.2 billion just 2 hours after the announcement. BTT is currently trading at $0.0032 with a trading volume of $2.5 billion.
