Information about Marlin (POND)
Marlin is an Open Protocol that provides DeFi and Web 3.0 projects with high-performance programmable network infrastructure. By optimizing the network architecture underlying blockchains, the platform is purposefully designed to provide layer 0 scalability, resilience, and decentralization, resulting in a smooth dApp experience at lower fees.
Marlin was developed by Siddhartha, PhD at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and one of the team members who developed Zilliqa, the first high-throughput blockchain using sharding technology, and was launched in December 2020. Marlin aims to create decentralized webs where applications are secured using blockchain and perform similarly to web 2.0, making it more accessible to users.
