Polyhedra Network (ZK) gets listed on ONUS

Starting from 10:00 UTC on March 19th, we officially list Polyhedra Network (ZK) on the ONUS application. Soon after ZK is added, users can perform the following features:

  • Off-chain transactions: Send and receive ZK with other users in the ONUS network.
  • Trade: Swap from VNDC or USDT to ZK and vice versa.

About Polyhedra Network

Polyhedra Network is building the next generation of infrastructure for Web3 interoperability, scalability, and privacy through advanced Zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technology. Polyhedra Network provides trust-minimized and highly-efficient interoperability solutions for asset transfers, message passing, and data sharing between various Web2 and Web3 systems.

The project is composed of top engineers, developers, and researchers from UC Berkeley, Tsinghua University, and Stanford University. Our main focus is to build a full-stack suite of ZKP-based Web3 solutions focusing on interoperability, scalability, and privacy.

To date, Polyhedra Network have developed and deployed several next-generation zkSNARK protocols, and a number of innovative ZKP-based offerings, including a zkBridge which supports cross-chain asset and data interoperability between various blockchain systems, a zkDID (decentralized identity) solution for verifying credentials without compromising user privacy, as well as a paraPlonk-based scalability solution to accelerate large scale ZKP systems.

What is ZK?

ZK is a native coin of the Polyhedra Network ecosystem, operating on Ethereum according to the ERC20 standard. The exact use cases for the Polyhedra Network token aren’t entirely clear yet, but based on the network’s functionalities, here are some potential applications:

  • Governance: The token could be used for voting on proposals that affect the Polyhedra Network, potentially granting holders a say in the network’s development and future.
  • Network Fees: The token might be used to pay for transaction fees on the zkBridge or other services offered by Polyhedra Network. This would incentivize holding the token and contribute to the network’s sustainability.
  • Access to Services: Grant access to exclusive features or services within the Polyhedra Network ecosystem, such as priority transaction processing or participation in special events.
