What is Heroes TD Token (HTD)

From 5:00 GMT+7 November 27, 2021, ONUS will start selling Heroes TD Token (HTD) through the ONUS Launchpad feature. To help everyone know more about HTD to have better investment decisions, ONUS presents a comprehensive research study on the Heroes TD token (HTD) and its role in the Heroes TD ecosystem.

What is Heroes TD?

Heroes TD is a Free-to-Play or Play-to-Earn 3D GameFi built with Heroes Metaverse, where players summon Heroes to attack enemy bases and defend their bases. Besides participating in battles, users can collect in-game NFT items and trade with other players on the NFT marketplace to earn profits. 

In Heroes TD, each player is given a starter deck of 5 Basic Heroes. Players can customize their decks to best fit the Battle they are going to participate. In each mode, there will be specific rules that the player must follow to become the winner. There are also special bonuses for players who reach the top of the leaderboard.

Heroes 

Heroes are the main playable assets of the game. They also are the primary battle power of each player. Each Hero is born with a different set of attributes, which determines his abilities. Depending on the combination, the Hero’s stats will differ. 

There are 2 types of Heroes: Basic Heroes and NFT Heroes. Basic Heroes are given to players at the beginning to experience the game. These Heroes are basic for low-level PvP Arena. Players can also use these heroes to earn CGC for participating in Daily events, quests, etc.

For high-level PvP Arena, Ranked Match, Tournaments, and Challenges, a strong deck is needed. Players can obtain NFT Heroes to strengthen their deck. NFT Heroes can only be purchased from the Marketplace, or be summoned by using 2 NFT Heroes.

Battle Modes

PvP Arena

This is the first mode of the game, in which players can participate with non-NFT Heroes deck. Players will be matched with other players based on their PvP Rank to engage in a match. 

In this mode, players can earn CGC after each match, depending on their PvP Rank. For low-level matches, they can only get a very small amount of CGC. The higher PvP Rank the players are, the more CGC they can get.

Co-op Mode

In this mode, players will be matched with a random player to enter a cooperative defense game. Each player will bring their deck into the match and defend the base together against the enemy’s waves. Depending on the number of waves completed, players will be rewarded an amount of CGC.

Challenge Mode

With this mode, players can challenge another player directly in 2 ways: Direct Challenge, or Same Deck Challenge. To participate in the challenge, both players will have to pay an entry fee of CGC, and the winners will take the reward based on that amount of CGC, after subtracting a small fee. 

This mode will encourage players to better customize their decks and polish their skills against their friends.

Tournament Mode

In this mode, 4 or 8 players will pay an entry fee to participate in the Tournament. Players will be matched in pairs to climb up the Tournament. Only the Last Man Standing will get the tournament rewards.

What are CGC and HTD?

HTD and CGC are the main tokens used for all in-game activities and the Marketplace. Players can make use of HTD and CGC to further improve their decks, participate in high-level games, and become the best player.

Besides, HTD can be used to participate in-game activities, buy and sell characters, cards, weapons on the Marketplace and summon new Heroes.

What is HTD token?

HTD is a specialized DeFi token for Heroes TD. HTD tokens can be used to participate ingame activities and purchase assets on the Marketplace. HTD has one special use which makes it a must-have for Heroes TD – summoning new Heroes. HTD can be earned via ingame Play-to-Earn activities.

In addition, the Staking feature will be introduced, which allows users to stake their HTD tokens to earn extra HTDs while waiting for game development.
