aelf Research Hub | ELF information, history and analysis
aelf is a decentralized self-evolving cloud computing blockchain network that aims to provide a high-performance platform for commercial adoption of blockchain technology. In order to establish a blockchain infrastructure for various commercial requirements, aelf provides an efficiency-focused multi-chain parallel-processing system with cross-chain communication and self-evolving governance. In term of structure, aelf consits one main-chain and multiple side-chains to support developers to independently deploy or run DApps on individual side-chains to achieve resource isolation.
ELF is a native token of the aelf ecosystem, operating on Ethereum according to ERC20 standard, and can be used to:
- Pay for transaction fees and cross- chain data transfer fees in the network.
- Vote on significant on-chain decisions like electing mining nodes, adding new features to the system, and other major decisions.
Binance Supports aelf Upgrade: On December 25, 2024, Binance will facilitate the aelf (ELF) network upgrade at block height 248,832,789. To prepare, deposits and withdrawals of ELF tokens will pause at 9:00 UTC.
Trading Remains Uninterrupted: Despite the upgrade, trading for ELF tokens will proceed normally, allowing traders to remain active. Binance will exclusively manage the technical aspects, requiring no actions from users.
