Illuvium is a fantasy-fighting NFT game built on the Ethereum blockchain network. Thanks to the integration of Immutable X, which uses zk-rollups technology on Layer 2, users can perform many tasks on Illuvium such as mint off-chain or NFT transactions while maintaining low gas fees. Not only that, but Illuvium also applies the DeFi mechanism, providing liquidity and liquidity mining on the system.
Illuvium is the world inhabited by creatures called Illuvial. Players will play the role of conquering these creatures and raising them to be strong enough to fight with other players. Illuvium is integrating AI technology via Virtuals Protocol to elevate the experience of NPC characters in Ethereum games. This initiative is part of an effort to enhance the gaming experience by making NPCs smarter and more dynamic, creating complex storytelling and interactions. The integration has been well-received due to Virtuals Protocol’s popularity.
Three Illuvium games, including Overworld, Arena, and ZERO, will incorporate Virtual technology, introducing innovative gameplay by minimizing microtransactions. NFT game Illuvium raises $72 million in digital land sales
Illuvium, a monster-battle roleplaying game that incorporates non-fungible tokens (NFTs), announced Sunday that it raised over $72 million in digital land sales.
The land sale occurred between June 2 and June 5, 2022. Of the 20,000 plots of land available, 19,969 were sold, with the remaining 31 plots of land to be held for future giveaways.
