Based on the latest announcement from the Binance exchange – where ONUS takes liquidity for VIDT Datalink (VIDT), this project will make the redenomination from VIDT Datalink (VIDT) to VIDT DAO (VIDT). (Only change the project name, do not change the token symbol).
After the conversion, all VIDT Datalink tokens will be converted to VIDT DAO tokens at a ratio of 1:10 (1 VIDT Datalink = 10 VIDT DAO).
To aid in this conversion, ONUS has halted all trading in VIDT Datalink assets, including Off-chain and Exchange.
Maintenance time: To 08:00 AM (UTC) on November 9th, 2022.
After the maintenance period:
- The entire amount of VIDT in circulation before 03:00 (UTC) on October 31 will be converted to new VIDT tokens at a ratio of 1:10 (1 old VIDT = 10 new VIDT).
- All features of VIDT assets will be reopened when the migration is complete. ONUS will make an announcement.
About VIDT Datalink and VIDT token
VIDT Datalink is a blockchain-powered data validation platform that enables organizations to protect their digital data against fraud and manipulation. VIDT Datalink is a supplier of API’s that can seamlessly integrate blockchain validation services into any other system or platform. In addition, VIDT Datalink also provides services to run validator nodes and provides data NFT technology and many other services. Organizations like Nyenrode, AmSpec, and IBM use VIDT Datalink to validate and secure digital documents such as certificates, invoices, diplomas and sensor data.
VIDT is a utility token of the VIDT Datalink ecosystem, operating on Ethereum according to ERC20 standard. Each time a publisher timestamps a file or an NFT gets minted, a VIDT transaction is made which records all necessary details into several blockchains. This makes VIDT token an integral part of the VIDT Datalink validation process.
