IRR (Iranian Rial) is the official currency of Iran. However, due to the high inflation rate in the country, the government introduced a new currency called the Toman in August 2020.
One Toman is equal to 10 Rials. This new system simplifies transactions and makes it easier for people to deal with the large amounts of money that are often required in Iran. The currency code for the Toman is IRR and it is represented by the symbol ت.
The Toman is currently used for all official transactions in Iran, and it is the most widely accepted form of payment in the country. It is available in both physical and digital form, and can be used to make purchases, pay bills, and transfer money between individuals.
