Information about Request (REQ)

Request Network is a decentralized payment system built on top of the Ethereum blockchain in 2017. This network eliminates the need for third parties, resulting in a more straightforward, faster, cost-effective, and secure payment solution for all types of payments (invoices, IoT, B2B, etc.). In addition to being universally designed to support all languages and currencies, Request also integrates with legislation worldwide to comply with each country’s commercial laws. As can be seen, Request is more global than any other currency available on the market today.

Request Network’s six founding members are all employees of Moneytis, a company that develops global money transfer services. Apart from Christopher Lassuyt (Founder, Chief Financial Officer) and Etienne Tatur (Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer), the remaining members of Request Network all have extensive experience in the financial sector.

REQ is a native token of the Request Network ecosystem, operating on Ethereum according to ERC20 standard, and can be used to:

  • Vote for proposals
  • Pay transactions fee
  • Reward platforms that develop built-in apps and utilities
  • Swap between other tokens in the Ethereum network
